Xlibris Releases Haitian Recollections And Haitian Returns

Urbanna, VA (Vocus) May 4, 2010 -- Decades before Haiti got ravaged by the earthquake, author Stan Hovey began his mission there to promote tree planting and help uplift the nation to the best he could. His enduring mission is revealed at last to all readers as leading self-publisher Xlibris announced today the release of his new book, Haitian Recollections And Haitian Returns.

Laced with captivating photographs, Haitian Recollections And Haitian Returns offers a close look at Haiti through the author’s experiences and views. It reflects how Haiti and its people have returned so much to Hovey over his entire lifetime. Through its pages, readers will find a specific program crafted for approaching the solution to Haiti’s reforestation challenges and it directly involves Haitian children. The recollections in this release emphasize important topics such as strengthening communities, the impact of history on Haitian society, and much more. Ultimately, this book emphasizes that hope remains for the nation and that people can make a difference by assisting Haitians on their needs and wishes. At the same time, it expresses that the natives must be actively engaged in anything others do, in order to take their country back from a devastating five hundred year-long attack on their natural environment.

In light of the recent earthquake that claimed the lives of many Haitians, Haitian Recollections And Haitian Returns is easily the timeliest book to read about the nation. Haitians and non-Haitians will find it instructive on its concept on achieving awareness to conserve and manage forest lands.
